1. Individual vs. collective
2.
Change vs. transformation

When you enter the graph on this page you find a dual polarity: Individual vs. Collective crossed with Change vs. Transformation . It constitutes a fundamental starting point of our work in different areas and respects:
The horizontal axis represents the energy of the (individual) parts and the (collective) entirety . The further away from the center, the more detached from each other do the dynamics grow and the more pure - and extreme - the respective manifestation. Ultimately, they form opposites. Taken to the outer periphery, the energy of the individual reaches beyond individuality and turns into individualism - from here, the collective appears a mere threat against which one must defend oneself and rebel. The corresponding extreme of the communal energy grows beyond community and gains a totalitarian character - from here, the individuals appear as a threat to communal existence and must be forced into compliance or eliminated.
The vertical axis represents the energy of change and transformation. Change signifies our drive to engage in reality and shape it. Transformation stands for the longing to connect with transcendence. Both are part of the same fundamental energy of relating to life. With growing distance from the center, the dynamics and their manifestations disconnect from one another and turn more pure and excessive respectively. The drive to shape and change our world turns into materialism - here, even philanthropic and social concepts and actions are reduced to bettering the material status of people and defining prosperity solely by indicators of 'having'. The corresponding extreme of longings to connect with a world beyond ours leads in its extreme to an evasive spirituality - from here, engaging in the world seems of no worth. Reality is seen as a mere mirror image of inner processes.
We investigate the different developments of collectives and ideas in relation to this map. We address the concern that - in our culture - transcendental connections have been cut off from most collective visions. Despite the inflationary use of the term 'transformation', mere change is the magnetic pole attracting both individual and communal thinking and acting. Underlying beliefs are deep-rooted and, ironically, to some extent the result of religious traditions - for instance the notion of productivity.
We aim to explore novel forms of collective transformation. That requires entering novel territories - jointly with cutting-edge scientific research, for instance in mind-science and quantum physics - and the deployment of emotional and even mystical forms of thinking. The conventional languages may no suffice to explore the territory and name what comes to view.
