Crear Vale la Pena is an independent non-governmental organization based in Buenos Aires. Founded and directed by Ines Sanguinetti - sociologist and choreographer - Crear Vale La Pena works for Art & Social Transformation. In Buenos Aires, Crear has established educational and articulation community and program centers in some of the poorest neighborhoods, providing nearly 1,000 children and young adults every year with a range of some 90 different courses in various artistic disciplines. Crear is one of the protagonists of an emerging international network of similar organizations all over Latin America and in several European countries - providing systematized learning and strategic thinking to other sectors and civil society organizations. Georg Engeli serves on the board of directors.
Alternativa 3 is an independent non-governmental organization in Buenos Aires. It was founded and is directed by a group of business owners who had sold their companies in order to dedicate themselves to explore and design novel forms of community building in some of the poorest neighborhoods. Alternativa 3 focuses its activities on fostering cross-sector understanding and cooperation, crystallized in community building initiatives. It mentors the development of autonomous leadership and articulation of its constituencies. Alternativa 3 integrates in its operations practical action - including micro-credit and cooperative projects - and across-the-wall learning with leading business schools, local governments, the church and entrepreneurs. It has developed an integral development methodology that serves as a platform for trans-sector learning and co-developments.

Poder Ciudadano is one of Argentina's leading indepedent organizations for citizen's rights, political and social reform, good public governance and institution building. It fosters citizen participation in democratic processes, education in matters of the Res Publica and of transparency in public institutions. Poder Ciudadano's unbiased and non-partisan approach earns the organization high respect and impact. Internationally, the NGO works with a strong network of other independent partners for good governance and democratic development, and represents Transparency International in Argentina.
